My name is Taylor McCourt. I am currently in my fourth year of my sociology degree at Thompson Rivers University. I was born in a small town north of Kamloops BC, and moved to Kamloops at the age of seven. I took HIST 3510 to get a better understanding about the history of childhood and education in Canada. Everyone in Canada has had the opportunity to go to school, although it wasn’t always like that. Therefore I wanted to look further into the history of education and that is why I took Tracy’s class.
